Renowned for his jeweled Imperial Eggs commissioned by the Tsar every Easter, Russia’s pre-eminent jeweler, Carl Faberge (1846-1920) achieved international recognition as early as 1900.  Unfortunately, the unparalleled artistry of his creations in gold, enamel and gem-stones died with him in 1920, and has never been recreated.  Few Faberge pieces survive today.  With an eye for authenticity, pristine condition and provenance (ownership background), Marie E. Betteley features a small but choice selection of Faberge items. All are guaranteed to be made in Russia before 1918 and from the original workshops of the master himself, Carl Faberge.
